Update long overdue . . . a new workshop

It has been quite a while since I posted. I have been working on a few projects over the past 18 months (more about that later). But over the past few months I have been completely redefining and updating my workshop space.

In the basement (cellar) of my house I now have an almost completely new workshop space. What was once the ‘playroom’ where the children hung out growing up, has now been re-purposed into a new workshop. New paint all around, much of the ‘art’ taken down and a few things moved around. Cleaned, and I mean really cleaned the floor (Pergo). The dart court is gone to my son’s house, the couch to my daughter’s. The TV to my other son’s house. Once all that was removed and the painting completed, I moved my computer station around the corner into the space that was to become the new shop. Then I was able to move my workbench over by the two small windows, hang some new lighting, move the tool racks and tool chest and hang a new air cleaner.

And voilà, a new shop!
